- We spoke about our families how much they love us and how much we love them. We talked about who is in our family. We have Mamas, Papas, Grandparents, and some of us have sisters or brothers. We said how much we love them and they love us. We sang a special song about this. These are the words: "This is my family, I love them all and they love me... x2".
- Morah showed us some baby pictures and we spoke about how we used to be sooo small and now we are so big. we discussed the things that we could do when we were small. eg crawl etc and now that we're big we can do so much more!
- We traced our bodies on paper , colored and cut out pictures of body parts.
- We painted our hands to show how big they are . wow! what fun! Our morah laminated them for us with a beautiful poem so you can hang them on the wall and see how much we grow.
- We are working on our social skills. We met two puppet friends, Benny and Bina. We saw that Benny wanted Bina's ball. We learned that good friends ask for turns. "Please can I have it?" and good friends want to share. So we answer with a "Yes!" or "Soon." Then our friend says "Thank you."
- We love to sing the song head shoulders knees and toes....we know almost all the words and all the actions.
Rainbows! Colors!
We started to sing our rainbow song: red and orange green and blue, shiny yellow and purple too, all the colors that we know, live up in the rainbow.
We made a book of all the colors of the rainbow during circle time, and made our own rainbow.
We painted with an assortment of colors to make rainbow collages on our papers. They looked so beautiful.
