We continued with the color yellow this week. We painted yellow suns with yellow paint and gold glitter, to hang on our bulletin board. We sang the song "Oh Mr. Sun , sun, Mr Golden sun...."
We practiced our fine motor skills by scrunching up YELLOW tissue paper and sticking it onto a YELLOW flower. Some of us were really good at this!
We reviewed all three colors that we've focused on so far this year blue, red and yellow.
Morah took three color boxes and we each had a few turns to chose a toy from the bag and put it into the corresponding color box.
We reviewed circles by playing with YELLOW circles and looking through them.
We reviewed some "opposites" like BIG and SMALL.
As part of our unit on " my community" the PreK 1 class made a restaurant and invited us to join them! We had so much fun eating waffles and drinking "tea".
We used CIRCLE dot markers on YELLOW paper to review some of the things we spoke about this week!
